Our maintenance crew is on call 24/7, HOWEVER, after hours calls that are not emergencies will be taken care of the next business day. If a resident calls stating they have an emergency and the maintenance crew responds then discovers it was not an emergency or not anything that is the responsibility of the town, the resident may be charged a service call.
Residents are responsible for their own sewer lines running from the house to their septic tank and their septic tank. However, the town DOES arrange and pay for septic tank pumps as needed. The town contracts with TSF and you must call for information. All records are kept as to when the septic was last pumped.
Sump pumps and gutters connected to the town sewer utility are illegal connections. You will be fined. These type of connections costs all the residents. Neighbors are encouraged to report illegal sewer connections. These illegal connections cost us all money.
